Welcome back! This blog has not been active in quite a while for my own personal reasons in almost a year. Now that I have been given a reason to begin blogging again I can catch you all up on what has happened since December of 2022.
Since the last blog I made in December of 2022 there have been multiple things that happened in my life. Chronologically first and foremost I turned 21-years-old! I was able to take a whole weekend off and make a trip up to a casino in Niagara Falls. I have never been to a casino before so getting to experience one with my family was a treat. Unfortunately I walked away losing money like most people, but I was not too pressed about it. My brother however, walked away with over $1000 in profit! I found a pattern in a digital poker machine that I got bored with so I told him about it and walked away. That was a big mistake on my part, but in the end I still had a great weekend with my family.
The other biggest thing that has happened in my life is that I finished junior year of college. My junior year of college was probably my hardest yet in terms of workload across all my responsibilities. I took on leadership in my fraternity, I was a resident assistant in my hall (and later got a promotion), and I was taking the most credits I have taken since freshman year. While I did end the year with all A's it took a lot of effort to get there.
Now I am beginning my senior year of college. Since my major is not engineering or pharmacy this will be my last year at Ohio Northern University. It is a bittersweet experience because I am excited to be done and actually have a full senior year, but at the same time it will be sad to leave this whole place behind. But for now I have eight months to make it the best year yet. Here we go!
Chase Coburn: Congrats on becoming a senior, I'm sure your excited but also a little said like you said bittersweet. It's been fun being in class with you! I hope you are excited for your life after college!
